Visions Of Night

Rising mist enshrouds the moon
In pale silvery light
From their daily slumbers stir
The creatures of the night
Against the air leathery wings beat
Silent as a cat
High pitched squeaks echo round
Forth comes the bat
Random dances of circular motion
Softer than silken cloth
Seeking the brightness of the light
So flutters the moth
